On 11/8/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily all vehicular traffic to 20mph on the following roads around the Kirkmichael area:- (1) A924 (Pitlochry – Kirkmichael – Bridge of Cally Road) from a point 538 metres or thereby southeast of the junction of the Pitlochry – Kirkmichael – Bridge of Cally Road with the bridge over the River Ardle northwestwards for 720 metres or thereby; (2) B950 (Kirkmichael – A93 Road) from its junction with the A924 Pitlochry – Kirkmichael – Bridge of Cally Road, southeastwards for 85 metres or thereby; (3) U93 from its junction with the A924 Pitlochry – Kirkmichael – Bridge of Cally Road, southwestwards for 326 metres or thereby; (4) Sillerburn Road for its entire length of 129 metres or thereby; and (5) Whitefield View for its entire length of 76 metres or thereby. This applies from 14/8/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement a reduced speed limit to assist with physical distancing safety measures for around the Kirkmichael area. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
