On 22/7/20 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict temporarily (1) all vehicular traffic to 40mph on the C418 Glenfoot Road from its junction with the C58 to the access to the property known as Glencroft a distance of 4.8 kilometres or thereby, and (2) all vehicular traffic to 30mph on the C418 Glenfoot Road from its junction with the A913 to the access to the property known as Glencroft a distance of 1.5 kilometres or thereby. This applies from 25/7/20 as the Council, acting as Traffic Authority, is satisfied that there is a requirement to implement reduced speed limits to assist with physical distancing safety measures for the C418 Glenfoot Road. These restrictions on the above sections of road will be in place for a maximum duration in terms of the Act of 18 months.
