On 17/12/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on the U173 Glen Quaich from the property known as The Garrows to its junction with Braes of Taymouth for 8 kilometres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- C451 – A827 – A826 – A822. This applies from 23/12/19 for an estimated period of 17 weeks due to the likelihood of danger to the public due to adverse winter weather conditions. Wherever possible, the Order will be relaxed where weather conditions allow and in the opinion of Police Scotland and the Traffic Authority, permit passage. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
