On 17/12/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicles from driving, parking and/or loading on both sides of the following roads:- (1) Kinnoull Causeway, Perth between the Earl’s Dyke and Leonard Street junctions for 260 metres or thereby (Alternative route (AR): Leonard Street – St Andrew Street – Caledonian Road); (2) Earl’s Dyke, Perth between the Glasgow Road and Kinnoull Causeway junctions for 45 metres or thereby (AR: York Place – Caledonian Road); and (3) Whitefriars Crescent, Perth from its junction with Robertson House to its junction with Glasgow Road for 100 metres or thereby (AR: Riggs Road – Glasgow Road). The Order will also temporarily prohibit all vehicles from turning right on to Glasgow Road from the following roads:- (a) Elibank Street, Perth (AR: York Place – Caledonian Road – Longcauseway – Riggs Road); (b) railway carpark access road, Perth (AR: Glasgow Road roundabout); and (c) Earl's Dyke, Perth (AR: Glasgow Road roundabout). This applies on 6/1/20 for an estimated period of 14 weeks to permit gas main improvement works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Access to premises will be maintained.
