On 28/11/19 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting various Parades/Marches and Events on the following dates and locations. The Orders will temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic and all waiting and loading on both sides of the following lengths of road:- (1) 5/12/19 – RASAC Parade – High Street – Mill Wynd – West Mill Street – South Methven Street – Mill Street – Kinnoull Street – King Edward Street – South Street – St John Street, Perth; (2) 14/12/19 – Dunkeld & Birnam Christmas Light switch on – Perth Road, Birnam – A923 Perth Road - Telford Bridge – Bridge Street – High Street – The Cross, Dunkeld; and (3) 31/12/19 to 2/1/20 – Bankfoot Family Street Party - Main Street, Bankfoot; All alternative routes are Local Diversions. Pedestrian thoroughfare and emergency access will be maintained.
