On 22/8/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic (westbound heading into Perth) on the A85 Perth Bridge from its junction with Charlotte Street to its junction with the A85 Gowrie Street a distance of 294.36 metres or thereby. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- A85 Gowrie Street – A85 Dundee Road – A93 Queens Bridge – A989 Tay Street. This applies from 2/9/19 for a period of 4 weeks between the hours of 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs to permit footway bollard installation works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration in terms of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
