A93 Glasgow Road - B9112 Necessity Brae, Perth

On 19/6/19 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit (A) parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of (i) A93 Glasgow Road from its junction with Woodlands to its junction with Oakbank Road a distance of 683 metres or thereby, (ii) B9112 Necessity Brae from its junction with A93 Glasgow Road to its junction with Kinmond Drive a distance of 203 metres or thereby, (iii) Oakbank Place from its junction with A93 Glasgow Road to its junction with Oakbank Road a distance of 130 metres or thereby and (iv) Low Road from its junction with the A93 Glasgow Road to its junction with Pickembere a distance of 135.75 metres or thereby; and (B) all vehicular traffic from turning (a) right onto the A93 Glasgow Road from the B9112 Necessity Brae and (b) turning left onto the B9112 Necessity Brae from the A93 Glasgow Road. Alternative routes: (a) A93 Glasgow Road – Lamberkine Drive – Cedar Drive – Fairhill Crescent – Oakbank Road – Fairies Road – Viewlands Road – A93 Glasgow Road and (b) A93 Glasgow Road – Low Road – B9112 Necessity Brae. All traffic affected by the above restrictions will also be limited to a maximum speed of 10mph. This applies from 1/7/19 for an estimated period of 3 weeks to permit traffic signal installation and carriageway resurfacing works on the above sections of road. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicular access to premises will be maintained.
