Perth and Kinross Council (Nelson Street, Charles Street & Victoria Street, Perth) (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2018 - Perth & Kinross Archived

On 21/12/18 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily (ONE) prohibit all driving, parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of (1) Nelson Street, Perth between the Marshall Place and Victoria Street junctions for 140 metres or thereby and (2) Charles Street, Perth from its junction with Victoria Street to a point 15 metres northwards and (TWO) prohibit all parking and/or loading for all vehicular traffic on both sides of Victoria Street, Perth from a point 20 metres east of its junction with Nelson Street to a point 20 metres west of its junction with Charles Street for 100 metres or thereby. Alternative route for vehicles:- (1) Marshall Place – Scott Street – Victoria Street (2) Canal Street – Scott Street – Victoria Street. This applies from 7/1/19 for an estimated period of 8 weeks to permit gas main improvement works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Access to premises will be maintained.
