On 15/11/18 the Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purpose of permitting open air Farmers and Craft Markets on the following dates:- 24/11/18, 1/12/18, 8/12/18, 15/12/18, 2/2/19, 2/3/19 and 6/4/19. The Orders will prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on (a) King Edward Street between the High Street and South St Johns Place junctions, and (b) St Johns Place between the Kirkside and King Edward Street junctions. Alternative route:- Kirkside – South St Johns Place – King Edward Street. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
