On 24/4/18 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on (A) Jeanfield Road from turning right into Riggs Road and (B) Longcauseway from turning left into Riggs Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- (A) Longcauseway – A989 Caledonian Road – York Place – A93 Glasgow Road – Riggs Road and (B) Jeanfield Road – Rose Crescent – A93 Glasgow Road – Riggs Road. This applies from 6/5/18 for an estimated period of 1 night (from 19:30 to 06:00 on 7/5/18) to permit Scottish Water manhole replacement works. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access to premises will be maintained.
