On 19/9/17 the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit:- (1) driving, parking and/or loading any vehicle on both sides of Charles Street, Perth between the Canal Street and Charles Street Car Park Exit junctions for 40 metres or thereby; (2) pedestrian access on Horners Lane, Perth between the Canal Street and South Street junctions for 85 metres or thereby; and (3) parking and/or loading any vehicle on South Street, Perth (south side) from No.120 to No.140 for 40 metres or thereby. This applies from 2/10/17 for an estimated period of 8 weeks to permit gas main replacement works. The alternative route for vehicles is via:- (1) Canal Street – Scott Street – Victoria Street; and (2) South Street – Scott Street – Canal Street. Should these works overrun the maximum duration of this Order is 18 months. Access to premises will be maintained.
