On 12 March 2019 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to proceed on foot (with the exception of pedestrians engaged on the demolition works) on the undernoted footpaths by reason of works being executed on or near those locations.
Footpath
Burn Road, Cumbernauld from its junction with the bus stop on North Carbrain Road to its junction with Snakey Bridge.
Footbridge
Snakey Bridge, Cumbernauld from its junction with Burn Road to its junction with Ochilview Court.
Alternative routes: Pedestrians should proceed on the alternative footpaths as signposted.
The Order, which will be operational only when appropriate signage is in place, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Friday, 29 March 2019 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Wednesday, 24 April 2019.
