On 18 June 2018 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 MPH on Shotts Road, Shotts from the extended southern kerb line of B7066 Hirst Road southwards to its junction with West Benhar Road by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Thursday, 5 July 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 30 September 2018.
