On 18 June 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on drainage connections and access construction on behalf of Bellway Homes) on Main Street, Chryston from its junction with Burnett Court to its junction with Solway Place by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: Vehicles will be diverted via Main Street, Lindsaybeg Road, A752 Cumbernauld Road, Chryston Road and Main Street.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order will come into operation at 0800 hours on Monday, 2 July 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 22 July 2018, when sign posted.
