On 12 February 2018 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on manhole rebuild on behalf of BT) on St John Street, Coatbridge from 10 metres north of Muiryhall Street for 30 metres or thereby by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative Routes: Vehicles will be diverted via Muiryhall Street, Church Street and Church Lane.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Vehicular access to the public car park will be maintained during the closure.

The Order will come into operation at 0930 hours on Monday, 26 February 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Wednesday, 7 March 2018.
