On 22 December 2017 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour (with the exception of emergency vehicles) on B806 Gartloch Road, Gartcosh from a point 60 metres south westwards of the extended line of the western kerb of Scalloway Road, south westwards for a distance of 350 metres or thereby to the boundary with Glasgow City Council by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 8 January 2018 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Sunday, 18 March 2018.
