On 13 July 2017 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the specified limits on the undernoted roads, by reason of works being executed on or near that location 

40 MPH Speed Restriction

A752 Aitkenhead Road, Uddingston from the extended line of the northern kerb of Kilmuir Road north eastwards for a distance of 950 metres or thereby.

30 MPH Speed Restriction

A752 Aitkenhead Road, Uddingston from a point approximately 950 metres north east of the extended line of the northern kerb of Kilmuir Road north eastwards then north westwards for a distance of 560 metres or thereby.

A752 Langmuir Road, Bargeddie from a point immediately below the central reservation of the A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road over bridge north westwards for a distance of 460 metres or thereby.

The Order, which will only be operational when displayed by signs, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Friday, 21 July 2017 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 21 January 2018.
