1. This Order may be cited as " The North Ayrshire Council ( 20 mph Part Time Speed Limit at Schools )  ( No. 7 )  Order 2016 " and shall come into operation on 2nd January 2017.


2. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order when such a speed limit is indicated by an illuminated flashing traffic sign.

( No. 7 ) ORDER 2016

SCHEDULE 1

Glengarnock Campus – Lengths of Road in North Ayrshire within the village of Glengarnock
 
 1. That length of Lochshore Road from a point 113 metres or thereby southeast of the extended north kerbline of Caledonian Road southeastwards for a distance of 271 metres or thereby.

2. That length of Beith Road from a point 46 metres northeast of the extended east kerbline of Station Court north then eastwards for a distance of 515 metres or thereby.

Legislation Information

The North Ayrshire Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Constable of Strathclyde Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby make the following Order.
