Findhorn Consolidation Order 2019 - Moray Archived

THE MORAY COUNCIL (FINDHORN CONSOLIDATION AND ASSOCIATED AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2019

The Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The general effect of the Order which will come into operation on 14/08/19 will be to amend the existing waiting restrictions currently in place within Findhorn to allow for the removal of a small length of restriction no longer required and introduce short extensions to existing restrictions where parked vehicles are creating difficulty for road users on corners or junctions. The sections of road which are affected are described in the Schedule to the Order. The reason for the amendments is to take into account changing parking patterns and consolidate all previous orders related to waiting restrictions in and around Findhorn. The Order is as specified in the Forres Gazette on 22/05/19.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act are not being complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 03/07/19 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
