THE MORAY COUNCIL (A, B, C CLASS AND UNCLASSIFIED ROADS)
(TEMPORARY 10 MPH, 20 MPH, 30 MPH, 40 MPH AND 50 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017
The Moray Council has made “The Moray Council” (A, B, C Class and Unclassified Roads) (Temporary 10 mph, 20 mph, 30 mph, 40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limits) Order, 2014 under Section 14(1)(a) and 14(4)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The effect of this Order which will come into operation on 7 January 2017 for a period of eighteen months will be to allow temporary speed limits to be introduced when required at major road works sites on the list of roads which is contained in the schedule, available for information at The Access Point, Moray Council Office, Elgin.

The temporary speed limits will only be effective when the road signs advising of the reduced speed limits are in place.
