Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate new sewer installation works for a housing development, Mayburn Walk will be closed from the junction at No.20 to the junction at No.141 Mayburn Avenue. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 24 June 2019 and it is expected that work will take about 4 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be via Dalum Grove, Dalum Drive, Gaynor Avenue, George Avenue and Mayburn Avenue.
