Temporary Road Clsoure - Bogwood Road, Mayfield - Midlothian Archived

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate road maintenance works Bogwood Road will be closed in 3 phases as stated in the below Schedule. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 1 April 2019 and it is expected that work will take about 6 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Westhouses Road and D’Arcy Road.

Schedule

Phase 1 – from the junction with Westhouses Road to where the road ends at Cook Crescent

Phase 2 – from the junction with Sycamore Road to the junction with Westhouses Road

Phase 3 – from the junction with Eskview Road at the roundabout (including the southside circulatory carriageway at the roundabout) to the junction with Sycamore Road
