(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2018

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate the construction of a new roundabout, Mauricewood Road will be closed between the A702 and Belwood Road junctions. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 5 March 2018 and it is expected that work will take about 16 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic and buses will be via Belwood Road, A701, A766, Bush Loan Road and A702.
