(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

The Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate carriageway reconstruction, Windsor Drive will be closed in 2 phases - (1) from Windsor Road to Strathesk Road and (2) from Strathesk Road to Windsor Terrace. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 12 June 2017 and it is expected that the work will take about 6 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be as follows:-
Phase 1 – via Windsor Road, Strathesk Place, Strathesk Road
Phase 2 – Strathesk Road, Windsor Terrace
