The Midlothian Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Constable hereby make the following temporary Order:
This Order may be cited as The Midlothian Council (Various Locations) (Temporary Waiting, Loading and Unloading Restrictions) Order 2016 and shall come into operation on 3 February 2016. The Order is expected to be in place until 2 August 2017.
Waiting, Loading and Unloading are prohibited on the lengths of roads described in the attached Schedule and shown on the attached plans. The restrictions will be utilised when necessary to keep bus routes clear during periods of forecast prolonged snow.
