THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (NICOLTON ROAD, RUMFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(NO.TTRO/1856) ORDER 2021
The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on Nicolton Road, Rumford from 08.00 hours on 16/09/2021 until 16.30 hours on 01/10/2021. The prohibition is to allow for the repairs of the 142330/40 Bridge.

- This Order temporarily closes Nicolton Road at the 142330/40 Bridge, for approximately 20 metres on either side of the bridge. Specific location is 1000 metres south of the Lathallan Roundabout.
- The alternative route is: Nicolton Road in a westerly direction then turn onto Carron Terrace, travel in a westerly direction then onto Maddiston Road, then travel in a northerly direction to the junction with Main Street, turn onto Main Street then travel in a easterly direction onto Station Road then travel in a northerly direction until the junction with the A803, turn onto the A803 Main Street and travel in a easterly direction to Lathallan roundabout before negotiating the roundabout and taking the A803 exit then turning into Nicolton Road then travelling in a southerly direction and vice versa. Local access will be maintained.
