FALKIRK COUNCIL THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (A9, FALKIRK, A904, GRANGEMOUTH AND WESTFIELD ROUNDABOUT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO.TTRO/1345) ORDER 2018
The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on A9, Falkirk, A904, Grangemouth and Westfield Roundabout from 00:01 hours on 01/07/18 to 23:59 hours on 31/05/19 but shall have effect only at such times as indicated by appropriate traffic signs or under the instructions of a police officer in uniform. The prohibition is required on the grounds of road safety and to avoid the likelihood of danger to the public while travelling in the vicinity of Falkirk Stadium before and after events and will be implemented at the sole discretion of Police Scotland.

2. This Order temporarily closes:
a) a 20 metre section or thereby of the A9 in Falkirk from a point 125 metres or thereby south of Westfield Roundabout;
b) a 20 metre section or thereby of the A904, Falkirk Road in Grangemouth from a point 155 metres or thereby east of Westfield Roundabout;
c) a 20 metre section or thereby of the A904, Falkirk Road, Grangemouth at its intersection with Stadium Way;
d) a 20 metre section or thereby of the A9, Lauriston Link Road, Falkirk at its intersection with Stadium Way; and
e) Westfield Roundabout, intersection of A9, Laurieston Link Road, Falkirk with A904, Falkirk Road.
