THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (A801 AVON GORGE TORPHICHEN BRIDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

(NO.TTRO/1305) ORDER 2018

 

The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on A801 Avon Gorge Torphichen Bridge from 17.00 hours on 28/04/18 until 17.00 hours on 25/05/18. The prohibition is to allow emergency road carriageway works on the A801, north of Torphichen Bridge (Avon Gorge).

 

  1. Full details may be inspected at Abbotsford House, Davids Loan, Falkirk  Mon-Fri between 9.30am – 4.30pm and http://www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/ from 26/04/18 – 25/05/18.
  2. This Order temporarily closes: A801, from its junction with C62 (Candie Lower) and A706 and B792 (Avon Gorge) between its junction with the A801 and A706.
  3. The alternative route is: A801 (part)/A706 (part), Westfield Roundabout (A801/B8047), B8047, B8028, B825, Bowhouse Roundabout (A801), A801 (part) and vice versa.
