The East Renfrewshire Council (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (On-Street) Order 2020 (Amendment No. 1)

East Renfrewshire Council are proposing to introduce an amendment to the current East Renfrewshire Council (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (On-Street) Order 2020 covering the use of on-street disabled persons parking places.

Amendment No.1 to the 2020 Order comprises the removal of 14 on-street disabled bays which have been identified as being no longer required and the addition of 50 new on-street disabled bays which have been introduction or requested since the previous Order came into operation in April 2020.

A copy of the Statement of Reason for proposing to make the Order along with the draft Order which will form the “The East Renfrewshire Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (On-Street) Order 2020 (Amendment No.1)” and location maps, are attached.

ANY PERSON may make representation or submit an objection to the proposal by e-mail (preferred) to: parking@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk or in writing to: Chief Officer, Legal and Procurement, East Renfrewshire Council Headquarters, Rouken Glen Road, Giffnock, G46 6UG

Objections to the proposals must be received by 8 January 2023 and must state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
