The East Renfrewshire Council (B764 Moor Rd & Over Enoch Rd, Eaglesham) (Temporary 24 Hour Rural Clearway) Order 2021

On the 15 January 2021 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, to prohibit stopping on the main carriageway of the B764 Moor Road and Over Enoch Road, Eaglesham for any purpose at all times in the interests of road safety for all road users and to prevent serious damage to the road verges.

The Clearway restriction will apply to the following sections road:

B764 Moor Road, Eaglesham: From a point 160m or thereby southwest of the extended south western kerbline of Alnwick Drive to the Council boundary with East Ayrshire Council, a distance of approximately 5,600 metres (3.5 miles) or thereby.

Over Enoch Road, Eaglesham: From its junction with South Road to the end of the public road at the access to Carrot Farm, a distance of approximately 2,972 metres (1.9 miles) or thereby.

The Order will commence at on 15 February 2021 and will remain in effect for a maximum period of up to 18 months.
