(Temporary Restriction to Use of Road)
Order 2020

On the 15th October 2020 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises a restriction to on-street parking on a section of Greenwood Road and Greenholm Avenue, Clarkston, from Monday 9 November until Friday 11 December 2020, to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Water utility works proposed to be carried out on or near these roads.

The effect of the Order is that no person shall, except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a parking attendant in uniform and with the exception of vehicles associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load at any time on the following sections of road:
(i)    Greenwood Road - on both sides of the road between a point 30 metres or thereby west of its junction with Mayfield Avenue and a point 45 meters or thereby southeast of its junction with Greenholm Avenue,
(ii)    Greenholm Avenue - on both sides of the road from its junction with Greenwood Road north for a distance of 45 metres or thereby.
