Temporary Road Restriction – Warnock Road, Newton Mearns

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) has been promoted authorising the closure of Warnock Road, Newton Mearns to vehicular traffic in order to safely facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried out on or near this road.

The works are scheduled to be carried out in two phases commencing Monday 2 November until Friday 27 November 2020 with no planned week end working. The closure is anticipated to be in force only during the Contractor’s working hours of 0900 and 1600 to limit the impact on vehicular access to properties.

Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.
