(Temporary Restriction to Use of Road)
Order 2020
On the 14 September 2020 the Council made the above named Order under, Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises the closure of Orchy Drive and Orchy Gardens, Clarkston to vehicular traffic in order to safely facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried out on or near these roads.
The works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 29 September and will be in operation until Friday 9 October 2020. The closures are anticipated to be in force only during the Contractor’s working hours of 0900 and 1600.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the restriction may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Routes:
Orchy Drive: - The Oval and vice versa
Orchy Gardens: - Cul-de-sac, no alternative route.
