Resurfacing works - Main Street & Neilston Road, Neilston

A Temporary Restriction Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access across a number of side road junction to and from Main Street and Neilston Road, Neilston in order to safely facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works proposed to be carried out on or near sections of these roads.

The Order will permit the closure of the junctions of Bank Street, High Street, Low Broadlie Road and Manse Road with Main Street during Phase 1 of the works and the junction of Donnies Brae with Neilston Road during phase 2 of the works.

The works are scheduled to be carried out from 1 April until 18 April 2019 and the restrictions at each junction will be in put into operation when required during this period.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.

Alternative Routes:

Phase 1:              Bank St / Main St: - Bank St – Lea Ave – Braehead Ave and vice-versa
                            High St/ Main St: - High St – Station Rd – Main St and vice-versa
                            Low Broadlie Rd / Main St: - Low Broadlie Rd – Manse Rd – Main St and vice-versa.

Phase 2:               Donnies Brae / Neilston Rd: - Donnies Brae – Lochlibo Rd – Neilston Rd and vice-versa.
