(Temporary Restriction to Use of Road)
Order 2017
On the 10th May 2017 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to ensure the safety of all road users on the section of Ayr Road, Newton Mearns, from and including its junctions with Davieland Road to The Loaning.
The Order introduces a restriction to vehicles from waiting at any time over the section of roads stated above and will be in operation for a period of up to 1 year from Thursday 18th May 2017 until Wednesday 16th May 2018. The restriction will only apply when indicated by the display of appropriate signs, i.e. Yellow No-Waiting cones, in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 and which have been set out by or under authority of the Council.
