Type Of Event: Paying spectators and season ticket holders will be able to purchase alcohol, soft drinks, snacks, and Club merchandise from the 1874 Club from one hour prior to match kick off until fifteen minutes before final whistle. Out with these times the club will be open for season ticket holders, committee members, players, coaches, and management of both clubs. On non- match days the Club will be accessible to committee members and season ticket holders only. The bar will be managed by committee member Alan Kelly – an ERC Personal License holder with thirty years’ experience in the license trade and management training. Alan also holds an English Personal License and has managed and owned pubs all over the UK. The staff will be fully trained within the current laws, guidelines, and procedures. Overview of Operations: 1874 Club will be managed by a manager and overseen by the Committee. There will be CCTV inside and outside operating 24 hours per day. No alcohol or valuable items such as cash will be kept in the premises while closed. No glasses or glass bottles will be taken beyond the bar – anything beyond this point will be in plastic glasses. ‘Challenge 25’ signage will be displayed and staff will be fully trained to carry out correct procedures. Staff will also be fully trained on the five licensing objectives in line with the Licensing Scotland Act 2005. Stewarding, security and safety of customers and staff will be the responsibility of the Manager. An incident logbook will be on the premises and staff will be required to log any incidents. Pricing will be kept within the Licensing Law. A First Aider will be appointed.
