Station Road Haddington – Footway Improvements - East Lothian Archived

It is the Councils intention in partnership with Sustrans to undertake improvements to the existing footways and cobbled footpath between East Lothian Community Hospital and Station Road in Haddington.

The improved footways will provide a safer direct walking and cycling alternative for pedestrians, cyclists and wheelers to access the various local businesses on Hospital Road and to the Community Hospital. It will also create a safer route to the Haddington to Longniddry cycle path when construction of a new footpath in the hospital grounds is complete.

As part of these works it will be necessary to suspend parking on Station Road from Monday 23^rd May for 5 days.

This will be marked out in advance with yellow information boards and no waiting cones.
