A198 Main Street, Aberlady - Footway Resurfacing - East Lothian Archived

It is the council’s intention to upgrade the footway on the north side of Main Street, Aberlady from the pedestrian crossing westwards to property Seafield. This work will commence on Monday 31^st January 2022 and will take approximately 1 week, weather permitting.

In order to comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to install a traffic and pedestrian management system during the work. No parking will be permitted on the affected section. Pedestrian access to your property will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be retained where practicable.

With a view to keeping members of the public and our work force safe during the current COVID pandemic, I would respectfully request that you maintain a safe distance from and minimise any contact with the operatives working on site.
