U155 Athelstaneford Road – Carriageway Repairs - East Lothian Archived

East Lothian Council intend to undertake carriageway repair works on U155 Athelstaneford Road from The Manse Cottage to its junction with B1347 commencing on Monday 17^th January 2022 for approximately 3 days, weather permitting.

In order to comply with the current health and safety legislation, it will be necessary to close road to through traffic on the dates above.

This restriction does not applied to the following services, Emergency Services and Construction Vehicles.

Local access for residents & Waste Services will be maintained from the Athelstaneford village side of the U155.

Refuse and recycling collections will be collected as normal, however please ensure your bins/boxes are out for 7am on collection days.
