Elcho Place, Port Seton – Footway Improvement Works - East Lothian Archived

It is the Council’s intention to undertake footway improvement work on the south side of Elcho Place, Port Seton between Manse Lane and Wemyss Place. This work will commence on Tuesday 21^st September 2021 for approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting.

In order to comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to close the road to through vehicular traffic and install a pedestrian management system during the work which will allow for social distancing. No parking will be permitted on the affected section. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access to the rear of properties will also be maintained at all times. A suitable diversion route will be signed and coned accordingly.

Waste and recycling collections will be made as normal.
