It is East Lothian Council’s intention to undertake carriageway resurfacing works on Prestongrange Mining Museum Road commencing on Monday 17th August 2020 for 2 weeks, weather permitting.
In order to comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to close the carriageway to vehicular traffic during the above dates. Access/egress from cottages will be maintained where practicable. Access will be restricted during surfacing.
Due to the resurfacing works the Prestongrange Mining Musuem will now NOT open until Tuesday 25th August 2020.
