**UPDATE**
WEDNESDAY 23rd TO FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER 2019
EAST LOTHIAN COUNCIL WILL BE ON SITE TO LAY THE FINAL SURFACE COURSE ON THE FOOTWAY.
THERE WILL BE NO PARKING PERMITTED ON THE EFFECTED SECTION DURING WORKING HOURS OF 8am TO 4pm.
**UPDATE**
It is the Councils intention to upgrade the footway on the south side (River Esk side) of Eskside West from the junction with North High Street north-eastwards to No.2 New Street. This work will commence on Monday 7th October 2019 for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
In order to comply with current Health and Safety legislation it will be necessary to install a traffic and pedestrian management system during the work.
No parking will be permitted at the affected section.
