It is the Councils intention to undertake carriageway resurfacing/repair work on the above road, commencing on Monday 20th August for 4 weeks, weather permitting. The extent of the main surfacing works are between the junction with the B6371 to the west side of the Research Centre, as shown in red on the attached drawing, DRG. NO. EL18737739/002.
In order to comply with current health and safety legislation, it will be necessary to close the road to vehicular traffic between 09.00 and 16.30 Monday to Friday. Local access for residents will be granted where practicable whilst emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Diversion route will be via Waterloo Road, Castle Road and the B6414 as shown in green on the attached drawing, DWG. NO. EL18737739/002. The local diversion route will be signed.
