East Lothian Council and Police Scotland have approved the temporary extension of a 40mph speed restriction on Haldane Avenue, Haddington on both directions, from the junction with Alderston Road and for a distance of 300 metres or thereby to the West. This is to facilitate signage and lighting installations, as well as road markings in association with the works for Roodlands Hospital.
This order shall supersede any previous order(s) affecting this section of road.
No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour in any direction on the length of road specified in this Order.
The restriction will be in force from Friday 10th February 2017 to Thursday 9th August 2018.
