East Lothian Council, Transportation has approved the closure of the C76 Cantyhall Road near Longniddry.
The works consist of the replacement of the Southfield Culvert situated approximately 30metres west of the B6363 Coal Road junction.
The diversion route for westbound traffic will be to continue north on the Coal Road to the Lorne Bridge then westwards on the A198 main Road, Longniddry via the dual carriageway to the level crossing at St Germains then south across the railway and east on the C76 to Chesterhall and Cantyhall Cottages and the reverse for east bound traffic.
The restrictions are in force from 8am Friday 30th March to 6pm Monday2nd April 2012
Pedestrian access will not be affected
Emergency access will be affected and the emergency services have been notified accordingly.
