CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING WORKS - BEACH LANE (GARAGE AREA), MUSSELBURGH - East Lothian Archived

It is the Councils intention to undertake carriageway resurfacing work commencing on 11^th December 2017 for 2 weeks, weather permitting.

To undertake the works safely, it will be nessessary to close the garage area during working hours, Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00 and no vehicular access or egress will be permitted during this time.

For their own safety pedestrians should not enter the works area (within the carriageway) during the works. Please note that before the final surface layer is laid, the existing surface will be sprayed with a black bituminous emulsion which becomes very sticky. Please be aware that this material should be avoided as it will readily stick to soles of footwear, bicycle tyres, pet’s paws, etc and is very difficult to remove.
