(B8049 BOCLAIR ROAD, BEARSDEN)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
On the 4 January 2023 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the B8049 Boclair Road, Bearsden, between its junctions with the A81 Milngavie Road and Rannoch Drive, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Monday, 9 January until 18.00 hours on Monday, 6 February 2023.
Alternative Route
The alternative route for vehicles will be by way of Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, MacFarlane Road, the A81 Milngavie Road, Main Street, Woodburn Way, Station Road, the A81 Glasgow Road, the A807 Auchenhowie Road and the B8049 Boclair Road, and these routes will be sign posted (sgd) Karen Donnelly Chief Solicitor & Monitoring Officer Legal Services East Dunbartonshire Council Headquarters 12 Strathkelvin Place Kirkintilloch G66 1TJ.
