THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(A803 KIRKINTILLOCH ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2022
On the 28 June 2022 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on the A803 Kirkintilloch Road between its junctions with Balmuildy Road and the access road to Asda/Villafield Drive, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Monday 11 July 2022 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 17 July 2022.
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Westerhill Road, Wester Lumloch Road, the B812 Auchinairn Road, Colston Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Ashgill Road, the A879 Balmore Road, the A807 Balmore Road, the A807 Torrance Road, and Balmuildy Road and these routes will be sign posted. Internal diversion routes will also be sign posted.
