THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (MAXWELL AVENUE, BEARSDEN)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
On the 6 April 2021 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when it is safe and practical) on Maxwell Avenue, Bearsden, between its junction with Canniesburn Road and the East Dunbartonshire Council/Glasgow City Council Boundary, by reason of works being executed on or near this road. The closures will be carried out in phases as appropriate.
This Order will operate from 09.30 hours on Monday, 12 April until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 2 May 2021
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Maxwell Avenue, Canniesburn Road, Canniesburn Toll Roundabout, the A739 Switchback Road, Bearsden Road, Ilay Avenue, Ilay Road, and Westerton Avenue, and these routes will be sign posted. Local alternative routes will also be sign posted.
