THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(MUGDOCK ROAD.MILNGAVIE)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE AMENDMENT) ORDER 2019
On the 18 July 2019 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person (i) to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road), or (ii) to use or permit to be used any pedal cycle, on Mugdock Road between the vehicular access to the Scottish Water Treatment Works and the East Dunbartonshire Council/Stirling Council Boundary, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from Saturday, 27 July 2019 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 8 September 2019.
Alternative Route
Alternative routes for vehicles and pedal cycles are by way of Mugdock Road, Ellangowan Road, the B8030 Woodburn Way and Station Road, the A81 Strathblane Road, Milngavie, the C56 between the A81 Strathblane Road and Mugdock Road, and these routes will be sign posted.
The East Dunbartonshire Council (Mugdock Road, Milngavie) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019 shall be revoked at 24:00 hours on Friday, 26 July 2019.
